CEMETARY MASS

A survey was conducted last August to find out if people were happy to stay with the usual August date or move to one earlier in the year. The question asked was ‘would you prefer the Cemetery Mass to take place on a Sunday afternoon in June?’ Yes or No.

A 2 to 1 majority opted for a Sunday afternoon in June. Finding a date which didn’t clash with other Parishes was important. As announced in the March Annagaul the Sunday chosen was 23rd June, at 3pm. Hopefully this advance notice will give people the opportunity to let family and friends know in plenty of time of the new arrangement.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS

Outdoor stations of the cross will take place next Sunday (Palm Sunday) in Kilteel at 3pm. This will involve some walking, so come prepared. It is being organized for teenagers, but adults are welcome to attend.

Date for your Diary: Sunday 7th April.

On Sunday 7th April at 3.30pm there will be an unveiling of a memorial seat in memory of Ned and Mary Byrne. There will be tea and coffee served and Eadestown Choir will be there.
