We celebrate the Solemnity of Pentecost and bring to an end “The Fifty Days of Easter “. From today the Paschal Candle is lit only at Baptisms and placed lit near the coffin during funerals to signify that Christian death is a true Passover.

The Parish of Eadestown is situated in the north-east Kildare ‘highlands’; made up of the civil parishes of Rathmore, Kilteel, Tipper and Haynestown.
