The Season of Advent begins today. It is described as a time of joyful expectation as we wait for the Lord by focussing on the real message of Christmas.
Today we welcome all our Confirmation Candidates who have come for their Enrolment Mass during which they commitment themselves to the Parish Preparation Programme. We promise them that we will support them as a Parish Community through our prayers and example.
Travelling Crib

Our Parish Travelling Crib begins its journey around the parish on Friday 8th December. It reminds us of the journey of Mary and Joseph as they sought shelter for the birth of Jesus . Families are invited to host the Crib for one night before it is handed on to the next host house. Finally it will arrive back in the Church for Mass on Christmas Eve.

Pro-Life Campaign

The Pro-Life Campaign National Conference takes place in the Concert Hall of the RDS on Sunday, 3rd December from 1.00 pm to 4.30 pm. Guest speakers include Abby Johnson, former director of an abortion clinic and Lord David Alton, human rights activist along with other inspiring talks and testimonies.
