Kilteel Church Cleaning

We are looking for volunteers to give 4 hours per year to help with keeping St. Laurence O Toole Church, Kilteel clean. Some of the present helpers have been doing it for nearly 50 years! They are getting a little tired and need assistance. Please give your name to Sheila Byrne.

Altar Servers

Our Altar servers add greatly to our Sunday Liturgies. We are now recruiting new members and training will begin next week. Any boy or girl who has received First Holy Communion may join. Parental Consent Forms are available in the sacristy. We are able to have servers in our parish because parents supervise their activities in the church. There are many parishes bereft of servers because no supervision is volunteered.

Eadestown 50th Field Day

We had a wonderful afternoon in Punchestown last Sunday and our Field Day was a great success, socially and financially. The proceeds will give a great boost to the finances of Eadestown Parish and Rathmore Church of Ireland Parish. Thank you to the organising committee, those who ran the stalls and provided food and fun for young and old, the judges and the pony jumping section, the volunteers who worked like Trojans to set everything up and clean up afterwards. It is a huge undertaking and there were many tired bodies making their way home when all was over. This Field Day is very special in the lives of our community. Long may it continue.
