Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place in Eadestown on the First Friday from 10.00am to 6.00pm. The rota needs some new people who can come during the day.  There is also Adoration every Thursday night from 8.00pm to 9.00pm.  All are welcome to come and pray

Sacramental Preparation

One of the ways in which we respond to the Pope’s intention is through our parents’ help in preparing the children for First `Holy Communion and  Confirmation. We are currently looking for parents  to join the groups who will be organising the preparation. Noirin Doyle is co-ordinating the First Holy Communion group and Grainne Kinnerk the Confirmation. Parish Pastoral Council

The PPCs of Eadestown, Blessington and Valleymount are meeting Monday 26th in the Coimin Centre, Blessington from 8.00 to 9.30 pm to begin planning for the not too distant day when priests will be very scarce on the ground.  We all have a part to play in ensuring that the message of Christ continues to be heard and lived.

Hospice Coffee Morning

Many thanks to one and all who helped make this year’s coffee morning in Rathmore Hall such a great success.  €2,428 was raised and will go to St. Brigid’s Hospice.  Go raibh mile maith agaibh go leir.
