End of school year Mass will take place in the school on Tuesday, 28th June 2016. All are welcome to attend.
Youth 2000 Summer Festival

7th – 10th July in Cistercian College Roscrea. Last year over 1,200 attended. It is open to people between 16 and 35. It includes inspiring talks, workshops, dramas, concert, games, times of sharing and prayer. It is a great opportunity for young people from all around Ireland to explore what their Catholic faith is all about. This is a donation – only event. FREE buses are available. Book www.youth2000.ie. Eadestown Parish will give a grant towards costs.
Cemetery Mass

Despite the inclement weather a large crowd turned up for the Mass at 12.00 noon last Sunday. Each grave was individually blessed before the Mass. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to all the volunteers who had cleaned up the cemetery and who organised the altar, chairs, sound system and the many other items that had to be looked after. Sometimes we take these things for granted not realising all the time and effort being put in to make sure everything runs safely and smoothly. Thank you to all our volunteers.

Encourage your child to write a prayer. The feast of Ss Joachim and Anne, parents of Our Blessed Lady and grandparents of Jesus, is on July 26. The Association is asking children to write a prayer for their Grandparents, both living and dead. The 12 most interesting prayers will win a prize. Prayers should be posted to the Catholic Grandparents Association, 83 Westpoint, Westport, Co. Mayo.

Eadestown Parish
