Cemetary Mass

The gale force winds and low temperature made attending last Sunday’s Cemetery Mass a feat of endurance. Despite the conditions a very large crowd turned up and thankfully the afternoon stayed dry. It was lovely to see families gathered at the graves of their loved ones. Some people had traveled great distances to be present.

A sincere thank you to all who were involved in running the event. A special word of thanks to Nicky Boran who went to great trouble to provide P.A. system.

Thank You

Thank You: There was a massive community effort in the run up to last weekends 1st Holy Communion to ensure that all was in order for the worthy celebration. Thank you to one and all, to those who prepared the grounds, and road outside, to the church cleaners, sacristans and flower arrangers and especially to the school choir and Ms Fay and Ms Thompson. The teachers did a magnificent job. We are indebted to Ms O’Driscoll, Miss Shaw and Ms Roche for their work.
