Dr. John Monaghan, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist , has written the following. ” In my 40 years of practice during which I have delivered over 5000 babies I have seen many difficult cases, but I have never felt the 8th Amendment had a negative impact on the safe practice of medicine. The amendment does not restrict doctors from acting to save a woman’s life when serious complications arise in pregnancy. It has never prevented me from protecting a woman’s life or health. Abortion ends lives. It is not healthcare.”

Today we welcome our First Holy Communion class to the Parish ” Do This in Memory of Me ” preparation mass. The last such mass had to be cancelled due to the snow.
Easter Garden: don’t leave the church without bringing the children to the sanctuary to see the Easter Garden.
Blessed Easter Water: Bottles are available at the church door. Feel free to take one to a friend or neighbour.
Easter Dues Offerings: Thank you to all who have sent in their envelopes. Dues envelopes are available at the door for anyone wishing to contribute.
