Do This In Memory

Cead Mile Failte to our children who are attending our first “Do This is Memory of Me ” preparation mass this Sunday 30th October in Eadestown.  Last Sunday we celebrated Mission Sunday during which we remembered that we are all called to spread the Good News about Jesus.  Our welcome and prayers with the youngsters today allows us to play our part in a very important way in doing this.

November is the month of the Holy Souls. We pray for the Holy Souls  at Mass,  by visiting the Church and by going to the cemetery. The norms or Indulgences at the commemoration of All Souls are at the back of the church.

Parish Pastoral Council

It is recommended that PPCs renew themselves on a regular basis to avoid going stale and one way of doing it is for some members to step down after a couple of years and be replaced by new  people. This method ensures that the PPC doesn’t  have to start from scratch every time there is a change and the new members gradually learn the ropes and contribute their ideas. We are currently looking for new members. If you would like to offer your name, or the name of someone else please leave it on the form at the door of the church. Please remember   that the PPC has to be a balanced body, regarding age  gender and locality,  which will be taken into consideration when inviting people to  join.
