Easter Ceremonies

Penitential ServicesMonday 10th Blessington 8.00pm & Naas Wed 12th 8.00pm

Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper Eadestown 7.30 pm, followed by Adoration and quiet prayer until 9.30 pm.

Good Friday Children’s Stations of the Cross 12.00 noon Eadestown.  Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion 3 00pm.  Stations of the Cross 7.30 pm Kilteel. (Good Friday is a day of Fast and Abstinence).

Holy Saturday Confessions Kilteel 10.30 – 11.00 am , Eadestown 11.30 – 12.30 pm

Easter Vigil Mass: Easter Saturday evening at 9:00pm in Eadestown

Please visit the Easter Garden in the Church. At times many people are unaware that it is there. Easter Blessed Water: please feel free to bring a bottle to a friend. Easter Dues envelopes are available at both churches – if you would like an acknowledgment please put your name on the envelope.

Family Day

In preparation for the World Meeting of Families, the Focolare Movement invites you to a day-meeting dedicated to the theme of family.  There are programmes for parents, children and teenagers. Saturday 29th April, 10.30 am – 400 pm in Maynooth University (Aula Maxima, South Campus). Cost €20 per family.

Talks

Join Blessington parish for a talk given by Dr Brian Houlihan, Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, in the Church of Our Lady, Coimín Centre, Main Street, Blessington, Co Wicklow.  On Monday 24th April will focus on eating disorders, psychosis, OCD / Tic Disorders at 7.30pm.  Admission Free – No Booking Required.

Parish Auction

Last Sunday’s auction raised almost €2,000.  Thank you to all concerned and especially to Aubrey McCarthy who kept everything moving along.

Refurbished Toilet

The toilet in Eadestown church grounds effectively has been rebuilt to a very high standard.  It is wheelchair accessible.  It will be open for Mass, prayers and activities in the church.  We thank the sponsors who have footed the bill and Martin Hyland for doing the construction.
