Parish Finance Committee meeting Monday 5th June at 8.30 pm in Eadestown Church. Monday is a Public Holiday and so some members might be unavailable, but please try to attend as some important decisions have to be made.

Please pray for our parishioner Teresa O Reilly, Rathmore, who was buried after mass last Tuesday 30th May. Once again we thank Herbie Gilchrist for facilitating car parking in his field and thanks also to Joe Sergeant and Ger Kavanagh who opened their fields at Rathmore.

We celebrate the Solemnity of Pentecost and bring to an end “The Fifty Days of Easter “. From today the Paschal Candle is lit only at Baptisms and placed lit near the coffin during funerals to signify that Christian death is a true Passover.
